Is There Room for Pluralism in the Church?

Deborah Brock says tone is important when talking about women in the church. She thinks some groups are pushing boundaries too far, like a woman who adjudicates the Torah sitting under a tree named for her. If she were consulting with the Catholic Church, if the Pope called me up, I would say, okay, maybe your ecclesiology is not going to change but let's push as far as we can to giving women voice and allowing them gifts of leadership.
