Donald Trump has laughed off bizarre social media rumours claiming he had died over the weekend, telling reporters: “I didn’t hear that.”
At an Oval Office press conference, the president dismissed the conspiracy theory as “fake news” and insisted he had been “very active” — pointing to a string of Truth Social posts, meetings at his private club, and recent press conferences.
The speculation came after Trump had no public engagements for a week, sparking claims online that he was in poor health. Comparing himself to Joe Biden, Trump said: “I didn’t do any for two days and they said there must be something wrong with him. Biden wouldn’t do them for months.”
