The Hartland Foundation where Hartland and the Hartland Institute put out a lot of disinformation about climate. That's their primary role is to be a climate disinformation spigot. You could live for a long time on $1.6 billion, particularly if you're paying yourself salaries through multiple groups. There's an enormously powerful case for Democrats to make that the American public was lied to by the fossil fuel industry using Republicans as their mouth pieces to propagate those lies.
