The Three Pillars of Diversity in Soil Life

The UN calls conservation agriculture a system of farming that depends on doing all three, no-till cover crops and diversity. So what happens when you have a diversity of plants in a field? That soil is receiving a diversity of exudates to help recruit microbial partners. The minimal disturbance is kind of like, you know, you're not disturbing their house. Cover crops is you're helping to build organic matter to feed them. And many people involved in regenerative farming would offer a fourth pillar: reintegrating animal husbandry into cropping operations.
