The IWG 2023 Guidelines for MDS
The panel included 36 experts from 14 countries across five continents. Compared to the IWG 2006 criteria, the proposed 2023 response criteria completely abolish marrow complete remission. The revised criteria also propose that partial remission continues to be reported as a response category in clinical trials.
