Google Assistant Is Getting a Makeover

Google is planning to overhaul the assistant by introducing surprise surprise generative AI technology. The information comes from a leaked email from Google VP P. Yash Ranjan and director of product John DeKellis. This is all part of the ongoing global restructuring and outs in January when Google said it plans to fire 12,000 employees.
