Thorin and the Raven

The raven basically gives talks to Thorin and tells him all the news that the dragon is dead, that the town was destroyed. The elves heard about the treasure and so their army is coming also. They're going to help the humans, the men, and then they're all coming to get the treasure. And this is where we see he's not rational about gold because he's like, no way, they're thieves. They can't have it. Right?
