The other argues that coercive institutions of civiliz nlike authority, like private property, turn us into selfish brutes. i talk about at length in my critique of the conclusion of chapter two of don of everything. Thankfully, they tell us both these stories are wrong, and instead, they 're going to tell us a hopeful story that gives us back our agency.
