Babylon, Babylon, and the Entime Enemy
Babylon's status as the emblem of anti eden transcends that of egypt, because it's babylon. Babylon conquered jerusalem, royed it destroyed the temple, sent the people of god into exile. The forces of cosmic and human evil are lined with cosmic evil in general. That is who the entime enemy is, the whole ystem. It's not tied to one geographical entity that we're familiar with.
