A Dad Who Grows Up in Poverty and a Mum Who Is a Socialite

My dad grew up in poverty and my mam was a socialite, so they both brought their money baggage to the table. Every decision about money was made pragmatically in our household. We lived very frugally, while my parents invested heavily in their retirements and my college fund. With a bachelor's degree engineering, i've bought a house that was well below what any rule of them says i can afford or drive a practical old car. I just believed in mysouf. And any time i thought i was going to give up, i told myself, you're not a quitter.
