The Importance of Community in the Environment
The Big Lunch is a yearly event where communities come together across the country to share food. Every year, around 7 million people take part, and this year, they've moved The Big Lunch from its usual weekend in June to coincide with the King's coronation weekend on the 6th of May. Here at The Eden Project, we're all about connecting people with nature and with one another so that we can work towards a better future together. And for me, the communities are a hugely important thing in that. So if people know each other where they live, they're better able to deal with some of the big challenges out there.
