Steve Wozniacki: Economics is made up of two components. There are a central corps of amazingly powerful ideas about how to understand the world, which are not really mathematical at all. And then there's a bunch of math and technicality, which is important to understanding when those ideas are true and when they're not true. So i've been befuddled by the amount of math that we put into our undergraduate programs; so with my colleague, john liszt, we introduced a new chourus called economics for everyone.
