The End of Empire Strikes Back

The final chapter of this book is like five years later after that, they're already building gravitational wave antennas. They talk about a well-known Tricerallerian saying, so it seems like there's like cooperation happening between the two species. I'm not sure where the story is going to go and I'm interested to find out. Like, I imagine this will have to take another like leap into the future. And I also imagine it will be another set of characters because now I don't know if that sure will somehow be in the third book.
