The Problem With Religion
John Locke said that the perennial problem with religion is that this difficulty, maybe this impossibility of the adherence of a religion. The first thought that comes through your mind when you're having an experience contrary to what the church teaches is "Where did it just come from?" I think any member of the church would be trained to have that as an immediate knee-jerk reaction.
