He Wants to Be a Paperback Writer: Clifford Irving
Ridiculous Crime
00:00
Irving's Xeroxed Autobiography
The fake autobiography was never published. The original manuscript is missing. Irving made a Xeroxed copy in 1989 and then he sold it with other Hughes memorabilia at an auction for $5,000. If you could get his real take on all of this, his real insights, and that halting weird language he would use, I would lose my ever-loving mind. Also, the only thing that could be better is if he actually didn't want to write it and he had Orson Welles sit there and interview him every time. That would be great.
