The Greens and the Liberals on the Left

Labor has tried to counter the Greens by trying to make people angry at them that they are standing in the way of progress, voting with the coalition. It's interesting also that this isn't the first sort of opportunity like this, where the Greens have outflanked them on the left because Labor has left them a lot of room. Whether Labor has a scenario where it can fight on two flanks, or it's better to consolidate its progressive flank and just crush the coalition on the right is probably something that will be thought through over the next 18 months.
