The Video Transfer Deficit
The American Academy of Pediatrics says, zero screen time until age two. For every hour a child from one to three consumes media per day, their risk of ADHD at age seven goes up 10%. The other thing I like to talk about and wrote extensively in the book is what's called the video transfer deficit. A brain under the age of three does not have the neural scaffolding to take information from a two-dimensional world and apply it to a three-dimensional world.
