Lynette's Story
Lynette was a pupil at Romy High School in Cardiff. She left school without any qualifications and she was attracted to the nightlife of the Cardiff Docs area, so she moved into a bed to sit there. In 1988, now age 20, Lynette was living in a flat in Dorset Street, Cardiff, with her boyfriend, Steven Pineapple Miller. Friends say that Lynette was under pressure from Miller to make money all the time. On the 9th of February, 1988, Lynette disappeared. Her neighbors, Paul Coombs and Ian Johnson, who were renting rooms in the same house, thought it was very odd. They began their own investigation amongst prostitutes who worked nearby
