The Loki Yarkiota: A Major Group Within the Domain Archaea
Loki Yarkiota is a phylum within the domain archaea. They have been discovered among other places around thermal vents, hydrothermal vents in deep trenches in the ocean. Scientists are now saying that eukaryotes then branched off from the Arcea. Wozniak: These new discoveries send us back to two domains of life rather than a tree.
