Some of our favorite characters from the first movie don't appear much or at all until the end. Peter B Parker is in it with May Day which is a great reference to the Spider-Girl comic in a baby Bjorn but we we and Penny Parker shows up at the end especially. I think that that is a way that they're doing a little bit of the Empire strikes of back vibe of of trying to give a shape to the three movies are they withhold those characters either in in total or in part he says.
