The New Etis ETIS System for Travel to Europe
We're at the Easter holidays and that means a massive glut of people seeking to travel on one or two days specifically school trips, coach parties. As I pointed out on Twitter yesterday under the old system before Brexit it would take about 10 seconds per person to pass through the passport control at somewhere like Dover. The only point to add is that this will get worse because there is soon to be a further layer of bureaucracy required where travelling to Europe will be more like when you go to the US or Canada. And so I think there'll be absolute chaos when this new Etis ETIS system is introduced for travel to Europe later this year.
