i spent on 25 years at baron's writing a column on the economy in which i was supposed to interpret the data. Behind the numbers, the saint louis fed keeps numbers on what they call federal debt held by federal reserve banks. The most recent 24 month period in the current century was an increase of 18 point nine% or one point seven trillion. We have a forty one % increase now, and the most recent one was 18 point nine%. So again, it's kind of a no brainer to think that maybe that has something to do with the increase in price inflation.
