The Battle of the Torpedoes

Ernest evans had his shirt blown off of him because this round goes into the wheelhouse. The only defense a destroyer has is its speed and manoeuvre ability. He's lost that. And as he's heading back to safety, he sees these two destroyers going in to make the run, and the little destroyer cort too, tagging along behind. We can draw some fire on to us so that these guys will make their torpedo run. So this goes on for two hours, and in probably the biggest miracle in naval history, these six tin cans turn back the most powerful surface fleet of the wr the japanese thought they were fighting cruisers when they were fighting destroyers
