Is Expanding Brackets Really Easy?
You can teach anyone a really successful in quotes lesson on expanding brackets or something, just by getting them to regurgitate a procedure. And that's really easy to do with maths with things like expanding brackets. But as soon as you put that third term in if kids have only ever seen a two by two, they can be completely stunt by that. So you've got to be careful with the task. I think there's a time and place for really easy questions and that's probably during some sort of session of maybe I do we do or something like that. Just to make sure they can literally get the question right but really quickly you want to get them thinking a bit more deeply about
