What Kind of Message Are We Sending Out to Victims?
Burglars will think 'there's a pretty good chance i'm not going to get caught when i do this', he says. But the message isn't right for burglars who commit low level crimes, which are not low level to the victim and victims of sexual offences. It all needs to change, mi ol us. Now needs to be different. We need stronger leadership, and we need the government to back our police. There is an issue in trying to solve these things, because you need the evidence,. but if the money isn't there to do that, it becomes very difficult.
