The Impact of Artificial Intelligence on the Professions
There's nothing specific to the nature of artificial intelligence that helps you sort of hiv it off from other technological development. It's just that the impact of artificial intelligence is so as a particular example of technology, it's just so profound that we thought it was worth looking at in a distinct way. What we see is that these technologies are now not only taking on what economists would call the routine activities, and in law, those tasks that I just mentioned are good examples. They're also taking on the non routine activities, which until recently we would have thought were hard to automate.
