The Guild's Strike Authorization Vote
"I think it was really startling to a lot of us to see the proposal and then response sheet that that the guild put out," he says. "This is not an ego thing, you know, let's talk about that for a minute." The strike authorization vote 'gave us a great amount of leverage,' NEGCOM president adds. But companies just did not take the threat of a strike seriously, even they took it seriously, writes Aaron Carroll.
