Alex thorn is the head of firm wide researcher galaxy digital. He has been studying bitcoin since 20 15, and was sceptical that low fees could be due to new technologies like segwit or lightning. After about may and june 20 21, fees basically flat lined - he couldn't figure out why. Andi i'd even heard rumors about miners stuffing blocks, perhaps, and that their exit from china may have ended that practice. But it just never really made sense to us. It still doesn't. So we decided to go on this hunt to figure out.
