How Important Is a Spiritual Community?

Is it better, even in the digital epoch, to find a teacher that you can actually be in person with? Or, um, is it ok to just find somebody that is remote and doesn't live near you. Oa, the next one is a sanga, or a spiritual community. How important is is that? "Having people to talk to about these things, i think it's very important"
