The Creator Is the Redeemer

There's a theme here in Exodus and this goes really throughout scripture, old and New Testament. When God redeems people in the Bible, it's often spoken of in language that echoes the language of creation. And when God delivers people, it's like a mini-act of creation happening that anticipates the big act of recreation. So much of Genesis is wrapped up in Exodus and so much of Exodus is wrapped up with Genesis.
