I think Putin would accept a ceasefire, you know, stop the fighting where the front lines are at the moment. And this would give him the option in five years or whenever to start again when they're better prepared and basically take the remaining part of the Ukrainian coastline. There's a general sense that the American ascendancy has gone on too long. I think we should be wary of being too Atlantic centric. If you look at China, India, South Africa, Brazil, none of these countries are notable for having condemned the invasion.
