The Importance of Seasonality in Charter Flights

The US is an obvious place for the charter carriers to look to deploy their planes when they need a few months of good, profitable flying. They're better off going to South America or into Asia. That said, ACMI carriers are used in the US on an exception basis to cover operational things. And we were able with our pilot unit to hire in some ACMI left to keep the flights moving while our planes were being maintained.
