Romanticism and Love

Romanticism isn't about loving your sexual partner in a particular way. It's the idea that we can recapture contact with reality by moving away from rational layers of cognition and into irrational layers. The romantic return to reality through irrationality gets connected with love. And this is why my attitude towards the romantics is so imbivolent.
