How to Write a Novel at a Retreat
The goal of the retreat isn't necessarily to have a finished manuscript. The goal at the retreat is really to inspire them to help them meet other people there are critiques so if they do have a manuscript whether it's finished or they're in the middle of writing it they can get a chapter critiqued which is really cool. So my course I teach the writing through running analogies but basically how to write a novel is the same way that you run a marathon and then a lot of writers like we when we run we get more creative and we're able to like write better and more productively.
