I like to start with Harry's goal. This goal puts everything else into context. So his starting goal is to do his history of magic assignment without getting caught. Then the inciting incident comes in and for this one, I had two different options. Number one, you could say it's that he realizes he's been 13 for over an hour. The other was three owls flying towards his bedroom window. He wasn't paying attention, but you said a keyword unexpected. Not unexpected that he turns 13 on his birthday. It's unexpected that there is a giant blob of animal flying towards your window that happens to be three owls. And citing in sin, I just call it turning point
