I Need You Now. He Needs You Now

My mom went to close the door before the man interjected sharply. The woman promptly pointed at my mom's friend's house who lived just across the street. My mom closed and locked the door then quickly looked out the window to make sure the two strange people were in fact leaving. She was confused how they got into the yard with the gate locked, got not so quickly, and why she hadn't heard their car start to drive away. But these were questions she could ponder later in the morning because right now she was tired and needed to go back to sleep. So that's what she did.
