Is There Evidence That Can't Help but Fail?
Every four years or so, we shift in terms of what we expect the administrative state to accomplish. And nobody questions anymore whether it can accomplish things. This brings into our political life, an evidence resistant kind of living, right? We don't have to worry about whether we can accomplish these things. All evidence to the contrary, every time out the gate. Well, it's going to be different this time. If it's not, we'll keep putting more money into it. I mean, you see how this is going to work. Absolutely. Anybody with a brain sees what's going to happen here and yet here we are.
