The Evolution of Mycenae in Early Greece
In the Ubi and Gulf in northwest Greece, archaeologists have found more than 150 sites dating from the palatial period. The succeeding period, the post-polacial Bronze Age, had only 64 archaeological sites. In central Greece's Boisia region, centered around thebes, the number of sites decreases from 66 to 20. People with roots in mycenae in Greece heading outward to Cyprus, the Levant, Anatolia, and Italy is strong.
