The Progressive Thread Moving Through Spinoza and Kant
The big question I have is with regards to this notion of the political life of Jesus Christ, is there a threat? Is there a progressive thread moving through these three thinkers that you see as perhaps the same conversation, but heading off in different directions? So as we move through from Spinoza through to Kant, is there still something there for us to hold on to with respect to the larger conversation you're having in relation to the political Jesus? The picture gets much more complicated between Kant and Nietzsche.
