The Adventure World

The second act is the bulk of a story, focusing on its protagonists' pursuit of a plot goal. In some stories, such as serial fiction or TV shows, the adventure may simply be a small problem to solve. It's possible that although the character does not physically leave the initial setting introduced in the first act, the world symbolically changes from something normal and familiar into something surprising and challenging.
