Volunteer Database Software - What's the Difference?
In westernized countries and colonized countries, volunteerism is based on values of individualism and recognition. In so many indigenous cultures, that's called mutual aid, right? That's called equitable disbursement. And I mean, something that this pandemic has highlighted: If you are not noticing how effective mutual aid organizations have been throughout this pandemic, then you aren't recognizing the fact that while so many of us had to shut our doors and aren't able to provide service.
