How Did You Find Your Path Into Bioengineering?
David Stroud: I was on the computer science team in high school and took an early interest in programming. He went to Rice University for his bachelor's, but started to get more interested in bioengineering. And he did take some neuroscience classes towards like computational neuroscience towards the end of his undergraduate studies. David then came to UC Berkeley UCSF bioengineering PhD program. His research focuses on speech neuroscience and computational programming.
