What Should Students Be Doing When Taking a Test?

Students rely too heavily on lighting and re reading. What students should do is close that xt book and engage in what is known as retrieval practice, which is basically testing yourself. An old fashioned technique is real i still really useful. That's flash cards. And then space repetition - not cramming the night before a test, but revisiting the material at ased out intervals throughout the i space out all the time.
