The objective of Major League Baseball here was to build a system where the top-seated teams win more often. We didn't read carefully enough on this to see if any of these are sudden death or if these are all series games. The longer the series, presumably, the less likely you are to have an anomalous upset that's going to tend to be weighted in favor of the team that is actually statistically superior.
