Is a Grammar School a State School?
The Spanish equivalent to a grammar school is concertado concertado so yes, the state pays for some aspects and Controls some or maybe even most aspects of the school. It's not completely independent But they have the right to do certain things. In a hundred percent purely run states School you can't be religious. It's illegal. You can if you like you can say yeah, okay We're open to people but let it be known that there's a catholic ethos here... we give religion a lot of prominence.
