The Use Case of Automating Reliability Testing
Volkswagen used a robot to do endurance testing on the test track. Yorett sender is also used for electronic stability, control and vehicles. It was based on a robot that has been used before for emission test stands. The project did not meet the commercial target so it ended up not going into production as intended.
