"I was this new kid on the block. I had a few rather ill thought through, rather hasty ideas," he says. "Mr. Darwin was absolutely way, way, way ahead of there... He had a fully formed, a fully fleshed out, a fully developed theory." 'One of the things that was important to your science or to your general experience in our time is to write down things,' she adds. "'You're just singing it. I'm obvious, man. And I'm obvious because you don't want to eat me, right? I'm making a point of being obvious' ... and so on.'"
