The Pros and Cons of Combining Weekly Predictive Alphas
The risk with alpha factors is that they're predictive but not very consistently so maybe you have an alpha factor that works really well. There are a lot of challenges to then putting that into a portfolio that you can trade profitably in the market I think of it as the most interesting fun step of the process but it's certainly not the end of the process yeah.
