Are Interest Rate Rises Good for You?
How often does the RBA meet, Matt? How regularly are interest rate rises potentially going to go up? They meet on the first Tuesday of every month except for January. The next meeting will be in March and then they'll meet every month after that. And it's really interesting thinking about, you know, there are some winners from higher interest rates. If you've got savings, then you're going to get a bigger return. But when we increase interest rates or when the RBA, sorry, increases interest rates, they're trying to control demand in the economy.
