We had decided the night before that the best d briefer for this guy would be aldrich ames. Eames, as we all know, turned out to have been one of moscow's major penetrations of the c i a's director of operations. I think he figured that yorchinko probably didn't know about emes, otherwise he'd have given him up in rome. So he prombtly drank himself silly the night before worrying about this. But then he shows up and sort of ostentatiously welcomes yerchinka to the united states.
